Hey! So Glad You're Here.

My name is Tim Green and I am a band director and music teacher in the East Baton Rouge School Parish System of Baton Rouge Louisiana. I am Louisiana Native with a degree in the Liberal Arts Interdisciplinary Studies accompanied by a concentration in Music Education from HBCU Jackson State University of Jackson, MS. I am well versed in Instrumental Music & Education, Site Reading, Competition and Performance.

I am a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, N Phi O Band Organization and a number of other organizations. I am married to my beautiful wife DiAundrea Green since January of 2015 and together we have one amazing son.

During my leisure I enjoy fishing, writing songs, playing music and spending time with my family.

Mission

Music is such an important element is our day to day lives. It is in everything we see on television and hear on the radio in commercials. My mission is to share the world of music through enlightenment, awareness, education so that all of my students are able to tap into the realm of music whether it be for pleasure, therapy, etc.

Vision

My vision is to create a safe place for people of all ages to come to learn how to play their favorite songs using instrument that they had only once dared to play.
